Some tweaking

A group of creative minds have been hiding away for a year, brought together by a twist of fate and a secret initiation. Situated amidst the chaos of the city, they are surrounded by the best and worst of Melbourne. They work, eat, sleep and play amongst the heart of consumerism and yet roam the laneways participating in an ever-changing society.

By observing, referencing and responding to their environment they forge a path of creative innovation. The city imbededs an endless inspiration in us, thus producing a unique team of creative individuals.

They are HIFT (strikethrough) SHIT (strikethrough) SHIFT.

Our story today begins with a philosophy, the thoughts on design they want you to know.

Design is all encompassing. As we actively collaborate, pushing our opinion and challenging our roles, we have the power to say everything and the power to say nothing. We believe in this freedom of expression. We push the limits, and challenge the bullshit of superficial design. We keep it real. We believe that design can bring about influence and change. It can inspire, motivate and rekindle emotion in the human spirit. Design should foster compassion. We want to create a culture that encourages creative thought and abolishes stereotypes and discrimination.

Design is an adventure. We enjoy the ups and downs, and revel in the process of design. We gain new insight by meeting new people, exploring new ideas and taking clients on the journey of design with us. We believe in educating clients and those who only view design as decoration. We like to get our hands dirty. We practice traditional methods and embrace new technologies. An open mind brings a whole new world of possibilities. Design is about exploring different opportunities. We love what we do and we have fun doing it.

logo variations

hi guys,

just playing around with Marcel, and getting him to mix around the tangram pieces. The third one involves only one of each piece, while the others mix about 5 tangram sets. I like how they are going, but think they are too geometric and clean for our underground style. maybe we should hand scribble the pieces, and mix it together?
maybe rougher edges, drawn in pen or ink, .. what do you guys think?
